The Ateco Cake Tester is a reliable tool for testing the readiness of cakes, brownies, cheesecakes, and quick breads. It is made of stainless steel wire and a BPA-free plastic handle, measuring 6 inches in length. Thanks to its longer design, it can accurately reach deeper into the cake for testing, avoiding the large holes created by knives or forks.
To use, simply insert the stem into the center of the cake, and if it comes out clean, the cake is fully cooked. Be sure to hand wash the tester in warm, soapy water.
