Authentically traditional, this long tuile pastry and bread mold is entirely made of blued iron. It is natural and does not feature any non-stick coating. The blue color of iron is due to a thermal treatment that temporarily prevents the mold from oxidizing. Iron provides excellent heat transmission and the tray is ideal for baking baguettes and tuile pastry, which come out of the oven perfectly golden. Uniform heat diffusion for even baking. Very strong, the tray will not warp.
Tip: grease the tray well before use.
Cleaning: scratch, brush after use, grease slightly (1 or 2 drops of oil on paper towel) to protect iron from rusting.
Dry well and store in a dry location. Do not use to work with cold ingredients. Not dishwasher-safe.
