My husband and I met on a consulting project 14 years ago. We would daydream about one day opening our own business. Fast forward to 9 years ago, and he left consulting to start our first business Chester River Wine & Cheese.
Seven years later, I joined him and opened Welcome Home. A store dedicated to cooking, dining, and entertaining at home. In our store you’ll find a lovingly selected mix of products to create amazing meals, wonderful memories, and a restful home.
I love textiles. My running joke in the store is, “everyone has their thing.” Mine is table linen. We dress our body to look fabulous, why not reflect that same sense of style at our table?
So, visit us for table cloths, table runners, placemats, napkins, fabulous dinner plates, lovely roasters, and all sorts of kitchen and culinary tools. We’re here to help you plan your next best dinner party!
We’re a tiny shop with a big heart. We look like a wee little house on the outside but open into a special world of heirloom quality, timeless yet modern, beautiful homegoods. We take pride in selecting brands that represent our values.
We look for, and source ethically made, environmentally sensitive, and people-focused brands. It means that you’ll find a mix of domestic and internationa - European focused- products on our shelves. We love finding brands with a story.
