The HIC Kitchen Pot Minder Boil Disc is compatible with most pot sizes and can be used in any liquid to prevent messy boil overs and maintain a clean stovetop. Crafted from natural stoneware, it is reusable, food safe, and can withstand heat up to 1,112-degrees Fahrenheit. Measuring 2.25 x 2.25 x 0.375 inches, its unique material and design reduce bubble size and number rising to the surface, allowing for decreased heat when it begins to chatter on the bottom of the pot. This makes it the perfect tool for monitoring the cooking of pastas, potatoes, starchy foods, soups, vegetables, warming or scalding milk, and more.

To prevent any potential scent transfer, allow it to cool completely before handling and rinse in clean water without the use of soap. Please note that it is not recommended for use in the microwave due to the risk of cracking.
